About this deal

Being able to read about her experiences and the process towards her outcomes helped to lead me through mine.

Ramadan Reflections: An essential journal to guide you Ramadan Reflections: An essential journal to guide you

It's a book that pulls you in as you find yourself reflecting over the gems shared by the author. There were times when I would re-read a paragraph due to how much it hit home. I felt seen, heard and validated. I felt as though it was speaking to me rather than at me. Like someone holding your hand and accompanying you through each step. IThe manner in how Aliyah interacts & converses with the reader in such a intuitive, effective fashion; its engaging & manages to capture the heart. Sometimes it’s not that we don’t know something, but just that we need a reminder, a little nudge to remember the good something has for us. Day 28 on Istakhara teaches us to turn to Allah in times of desperation, in times when we truly need the guidance of Al-Hādi (the One who guides) to light the way for us. I learnt how to perform Istakhara correctly and with conviction that this is the best way to resolve my conflicting mind and heart.

Ramadan Reflections - A Guided Journal | Inspitalfeilds East

Ramadan Reflections is pretty much a roadmap for our lives; the reason, the seasons, the battles, and Our Merciful Lord, Whom she proudly shows off by some of His Magnificent Names and Attributes and Whom I proudly love more. This book is a keeper. You can keep returning to it over and over, as you grow and develop and find new meanings to each chapter/topic previously read. The introduction alone stirs the heart and soothes it. The words are comforting which is just as they should be when you settle down to read a good book. And Ramadan Reflections was definitely a good book!NEW!“Fast Aid” Kit: A spread to help you pinpoint your struggles during the fast and reflect on what could help, with encouragement to find evidence from the authentic sources of Islam. This isn’t a flaw per se🌚, just personal preference, but because of the nature of the book (the author sharing her personal experiences), there are many parts that I found repetitive, which dampened parts of my reading experience. I ask Allah to let us reach Ramadan, to let us strive in it, sincerely seeking His pleasure and to shower us with His Mercy and Forgiveness!

Aliyah Umm Raiyaan | Author and Speaker

Consider how you can incorporate the teachings of the verse into your daily life. Write down practical action steps that align with the message of the verse. This step bridges the spiritual insights with real-world application.

The writing process was something Aliyah admits she struggled with. As a home-schooling mum and founder of Solace UK, a charity that helps women who have converted to Islam, there was little time to write a book, let alone within a month. The book has been written very practically and beautifully. Aliyah has this gift to connect the readers actual feelings and thoughts as if she is inside their own minds. She effortlessly draws clear lines of truths to the truth, while connecting us to our Creator, presenting Him and His Choices and Actions in our lives in such deeply beautiful considerations. She reminds us of our purpose and life in the hereafter. This is her debut book. As a guided journal, the book takes the reader through a personal and intimate journey from the past, present and future. There are some deep spiritual reflections in there, allowing readers to heal and become more present" Ramadan Reflections: a guided journal is a collection of intimate, healing, Islam-focused reflections aimed at guiding readers through the 30 days of Ramadan. This guided journal is divided into three parts which focus on the past, the present and the future respectively. There is a chapter with its own topic for each day of Ramadan with some prompts/questions at the end for the reader to write their own reflections and thoughts.
