We want our comments to be a lively and valuable part of our community - a place where readers can debate and engage with the most important local issues. The track plan (everyone loves a track plan) is not an exact copy of Bacup, but uses the basic layout of the station. During the Victorian period the town prospered, with quarrying, weaving, mining, cotton spinning and shoe manufacturing providing a variety of occupations for the population of the town, and the natural geography offering a wealth of resources for businessmen and women to utilise to it’s fullest potential.I did this because as there are so many large panes, if I had stuck the glazing on the inside, it would have shown up but with hindsight, I should have made the main sub-structure from clear plastikard and used overlays throughout.
